The intermediate frequency power supply is a static frequency conversion device that converts the three-phase power frequency power supply into a single-phase power supply. It has strong adaptability to various loads and a wide range of applications. It is mainly used in the field of metal processing. It is used in conjunction with industrial furnaces for melting, heat preservation, sintering, welding, quenching, tempering, diathermy, molten metal purification, and heat treatment of various metals, pipe bending, and crystal growth and other pre-processing treatments. The standard output power series is: 30kW-50000kw; the standard configuration melting furnace series is: 30kg (30kW) ~ 60000kg (50000kW); the standard oscillation frequency series is: 150 ~ 8000HZ.

At present, there are mainly three types of intermediate frequency power supplies in China, which are KGPS parallel IF power supply system, IGBT series IF power supply system and KGPS series IF power supply system.
